I believe that every person has the innate ability to live and harness an authentically bold and heart-centred life. Trauma and oppression disconnects us from this truth leaving behind lasting wounds that hurt our relationship to ourselves and others. I have worked in the field of mental health, addiction and trauma for 20 years and have supported many individuals through their healing journey. I am trained in various integrative and relational therapies that support mind, body and spirit. I hold space and co-create safety so that you may listen and trust the wisdom within that empowers you towards more choice, freedom and boundless joy.
I specialize in trauma responsive, attachment informed therapy which facilitates social justice, post-traumatic growth and healing. My work is guided by an anti-oppressive, welcoming and inclusive lens. I work with adults, couples, teens, children and diverse families. I celebrate all expressions of diversity and honour innate wisdom, goodness and whole being-ness.
My own healing work is integral to my capacity to show up with presence, compassion, humility and grit. I value your resiliency and honour your ability to survive.
Somatic Experiencing, NARM, EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Expressive Arts, DBT, Reiki and Mindful Self Compassion guides my practice. I welcome you where you are at. No judgement. Only a curious heart and accepting mind.
